Nanny’s Cranberry Salad
2 small boxes raspberry Jello
1 large can whole cranberry sauce
1 small can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 8-ounce carton sour cream
1 cup nuts, finely chopped
3 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
Heat water to boiling point. Mix Jello into water. Mix well; let cool slightly. Add cranberry sauce and mix. Add pineapple and oranges. Pour into medium to large rectangular dish. Chill until solid. Soften cream cheese, beat until fluffy then add sugar, sour cream and nuts. Mix well and spread over top of Jello. Store covered in the refrigerator.
